Placement guide

  • Behind monitor (bias lighting): cut to monitor width, stick to the back edge
  • Under desk surface: run along the underside front edge pointing down
  • Under cabinet/shelf: stick to the underside, lights your desk surface from above
  • Along desk back panel: between desk and wall, creates a wall glow effect
  • Inside PC case: most case strips run 5V USB or 12V SATA — check compatibility first

FAQ

How do I cut LED strips without breaking them?

Cut only at the designated cut points — usually marked with a scissor icon or copper pads every 2–3 inches. Cutting between these points breaks the circuit. Use sharp scissors for a clean cut on the copper pad.

Can I connect two strips together?

Yes, with connector clips that bridge the copper contacts. The connectors are cheap and available on Amazon. Make sure the connector matches your strip type (2-pin for single color, 4-pin for RGB, 5-pin for RGBW).
