The ATTACK SHARK R85 HE 75% Magnetic Wired Gaming Keyboard is designed for gamers who want faster response, more precise control, and a cleaner desktop setup. Built with Hall Effect magnetic switches, it supports adjustable actuation and rapid trigger functionality, helping deliver smoother...

The ATTACK SHARK R85 HE takes the Hall Effect approach to the 75% form factor and adds 8KHz polling. That polling rate is the headliner — most gaming keyboards run at 1000 Hz. 8000 Hz means the board sends input data to your PC eight times more frequently, cutting latency to the point where it is effectively imperceptible in competitive play.

Hall Effect magnetic switches allow rapid trigger support. The key resets the moment you release it rather than at a fixed return point. In CS2 or Valorant, where re-pressing movement keys quickly determines position advantage, this is a genuine input edge. Combine rapid trigger with 8KHz polling and you have a keyboard optimized specifically for competitive gaming performance.

The 75% layout is an important plus here. Unlike pure 60% or 65% gaming boards, the R85 HE keeps a full function row. Real F-keys for keybinds, a proper Escape key in the right place, and dedicated arrows. You can game on it and use it for normal desktop work without fighting the layout.

Adjustable actuation points per key give extra control. You can set different actuation depths for WASD versus other keys, or standardize across the board. It is more control than you get from standard mechanical switches at any price.

The board is wired only. For competitive gaming that is fine — most tournament-grade play uses wired anyway. If you need wireless, look at the Aula F75 instead.

Pros

  • 8KHz polling rate
  • Hall Effect with rapid trigger
  • Adjustable actuation per key
  • Full function row + arrows
  • Under $60
Cons

  • Wired only
  • HE advantage mainly useful in competitive gaming
